Twilight Invite in Channahon, Ill. The biggest highlight came in the form of junior Janis Pastars (Ogre, Latvia/Cameron University/Latvia) winning the 5K (5,000 meters) race with a stellar time of 15:50.20. Senior Kyle Counter (Manhattan, Ill./Lincoln-Way Central) and junior transfer Victor Solis (Cicero, Ill./Morton College/Morton East) were the other two SXU finishers Friday. Solis finished in 22nd place with a time of 17:17, while Counter turned in a time of 17:37 for 27th place. Read the full article at: www.sxucougars.com
